OFF CAMERA ENTERTAINMENT is a film and television production company founded in 2018 by Stephanie Slack and Margret H. Huddleston, two former corporate entertainment executives united by a passion for global storytelling and emotionally resonant commercial films.

The company launched with Netflix’s Dangerous Lies, earning two People’s Choice Award nominations, and quickly established itself as a go-to producer of globally successful romantic comedies.
OFF CAMERA produced the hit Netflix original Love, Guaranteed, followed by Love in the Villa, shot on location in Verona, Italy, and the holiday favorite The Noel Diary.

In 2025, OFF CAMERA delivered one of its biggest successes yet with Champagne Problems, written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson. Filmed in Paris and France’s Champagne region, the film became a global Netflix hit, landing in the platform’s Top 10 worldwide and earning a strong Rotten Tomatoes score — further cementing the company’s reputation for aspirational, travel-forward romantic comedies that connect with audiences around the world.

Beyond Netflix, OFF CAMERA has produced a robust slate of original films for Lifetime and Paramount Network, including the GLAAD Media Award–nominated Dashing in December and A Nashville Country Christmas.

Bios
Stephanie Slack is a producer and content distribution specialist. Before going independent, she headed up the Co-Production and Acquisitions department at MarVista Entertainment for 8 years and was an original member of the executive strategy team. During that time, she executive produced 30+ projects including films in Colombia, Brazil, Australia and the U.K. Prior to joining MarVista, Slack served as VP, TV Distribution for 20th Century Fox where she launched the scripted format business. Prior to her studio tenure, Stephanie headed up the Worldwide Sales division for PorchLight Entertainment. A travel lover with a business degree from l’Ecole Européen des Affairs in Paris, Stephanie now lives in Venice Beach, California with her family.
Margret H. Huddleston, originally from Norway, got her start in international production working on the Emmy-winning miniseries The Path to 9/11 and the Fox/Walden feature The Seeker, as well as on a number of independent features. She then moved to the U.S. where she spent six years in the physical production department at HBO. Key credits from that time include Game of Thrones, Mildred Pierce and The Newsroom.  She left HBO in 2014 to join MarVista Entertainment where she held the post of VP, Development & Production and Executive Producer in the indie feature department.  Huddleston managed a slate of over 30 movies a year across a wide range of genres and budgets. Now travelling all over the world as an independent producer, she sometimes lives in Hermosa Beach, California with her husband and three kids.
